On arrival, visit the Tharu villages around the area to learn about the life of the locals, which is characterized by mud and thatch houses, local crafts, and local hospitality. Socialize with the locals to learn about their customs, how they practice agriculture, and cultural traditions. Spend the evening on a relaxing stroll in the reserve, where you can enjoy the natural environment and observe abundant birdlife.

Day 4Full Day in Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve

Start the day with a tranquil trip on the Sapta Koshi River, which harbors water birds, Gharial crocodiles, and the mysterious Gangetic dolphin. Capture photos along the scenic riverbanks. Visit the wild water buffalo of Nepal in the afternoon, either on a jeep safari or a guided nature trail into the reserve.
